Sea glass has arrived

I am so excited about this. I had to call all around the country to find some more but I did it. With help thanks to my dad! I found the sea glass that matched the stuff I aready had. I had to order it from a Pottery Barn store in NJ but it got here a couple of days ago. This is what I am planning to do with it.

Might even put then in little jam jars with tea light candles for the tables as well. Love this color's go perfect with the colors.

Postponing Our Wedding

I regret to inform everyone that John and I are having to put off our wedding. Due to unfortunate circumstances we have to postpone the wedding. We have a new date set which is May 22nd, 2010. I am very excited and looking at this in a positive way. That you for you love and support.

So more big problems, John and I had finally decided we were going to start going to church again, I was so excited cause I really missed it. I called up to the church where my parents got married which was the same church I went to as a little girl. The priest was very nice when I had talked to him on the phone and told him we would be attending Sunday service. We had been going for about two weeks when I ask our pastor Gary Oliver if he would like to marry john and I and if it would be ok to use the church. He hesitate and told us as long as your were members of the church or made a donation to the church could we get married there. I went on to tell him that we would not be attending in the summer cause we are gone every weekend. He said that is fine I will see you on Sunday. I had called and called him trying to get final details of what I could or couldn't do at the Church. Well he finally called me back and the first thing he asked me was how come we stopped going to church I told him it was because we were going to the lake and would not be in church during the summer. He went on to be very rude and accuse me of lying to him about why we stopped going, so I asked him how come you have such a negative attitude towards me all of a sudden and he said I am sick of people like you coming into my church and promising me things and not following through with them. I said I never promised you anything. He went on to be very rude. This hurt me so bad! Isn't a man of god suppose to be forgiving and welcoming to his church and encourage you to go. Well I was near to crying and called John and told him what happened told him not to call Gary, Well to anyone who knows John of course he called was very nice and called well the first thing Gary said to John was Did I make her cry and started to laugh. John was very taken back and offended and asked how come he was being this way to us when we had not even done anything to him. He told John to hold on while he went into another room cause it was too loud. This was a Thursday afternoon and he was in a church i am pretty sure there was no one there but the secretary. He told John he didn't want to marry us and to never come back to the church again. I cried and cried. My heart was so broken. How could a man of god do something like this to us when we had done nothing wrong. Well I just wanted to update everyone on what had been going on while I had not been updating...needless to say we don't have a place to get married now and I am at a loss for words. Big Problems with our caterer!

So I have been hitting a lot of bumps in the way of wedding planning, first it was our caterer she was so great when we met here at the bridal show. Her name is Shannon she works for putting on the Ritz in Spokane, WA. I was having a hard time making it to my appointment this one day, Zoe was teething and I wanted my mom and mother in law to be there when we talked about our food order. Well my mom and mother in law couldn't make it so I decided to cancel my appointment and ask her the questions over an email. She rudely emailed me back and said that if i was going to reschedule I better make it to that appointment or she wasn't going to be the caterer for my wedding. Well this made me very upset so I told her fine if that is what you want (In a much meaner way) then i will take my business elsewhere. Well needless to say after that I was really upset and didn't know what to do so I shopped around and found our new caterer and I am so excited cause his food is amazing and it is all home made nothing is from a can!

Flowers

So I have been trying to figure out what to do about color for the flowers, my colors for the wedding are blues, and pewter grey. Well now i want to try and incorporate pink for the flowers. I think that the colors all go great together. Here is what i am thinking for the tables...i love this idea! Ranunculus is my favorite and this pink is amazing! I love the idea of putting them in these beautiful blue containers. Amazing together.

Getting Moving

So I am really struggling with this weight thing since I had Zoe. I have always had a hard time keeping weight off it has been a struggle all my life. Through high school I didn't have to much trouble cause i played tennis and that really kept the weight off. I am having a hard time getting motivated and seeing all of my friends and family loosing weight for my wedding its a little hard to take when i am the one that should be worried about loosing all the weight for the wedding, but don't get me wrong i am so proud of all of you! You all look amazing and are feeling better about yourself and that is so great. I just need to get myself motivated to get up and do something about it. It's just hard when you can't afford to do all the things everyone else is. Everyone is on a diet plan and they are so expensive i even tried to get a personal trainer...ha that didn't work...he was really expensive also....what to do what to do...I think i am going to get started on the Wii again get my butt running and see if some pounds come off that way. I think a good cleanse would do me wonders right now also.

Wedding Hair Styles HELP!

So I found three hairstyles that i really love. Two would look great with my hair piece. Which one is a all down hairstyle and the other is a up hairstyle. The other that i like is half up half down.....i don't know what to do should i go to the salon and try all the styles? Vote on which one you like the best 1, 2 or 3.

I just love these, This gal Cynthia does amazing work. She custom make cake toppers for couples for there wedding. How amazing are these. I think this would be great to have one made of John, Zoe and I for the top of our cake. Adorable.
